For several years we have talked-the-talk and now it is finally time to walk-the-walk. FAT DASH is the realization of a dream and the embodiment of a lifestyle that we have labored oh so many years to finally realize.

Many have asked for the genesis of the vessel name FAT DASH. The answer is quite simple. When we finally pass from earthly existence (we hope later rather than sooner) all that remains is a memorial or obituary which states that an individual was born and died which is generally expressed as “Born 1943-Died 19XX”. That “–“ between the dates represents the entirety of your life and it is our fervent hope to make that dash as fat as possible. In other words, we want to make what years remain as full as we can.
